2003

In 2003, well known art collector, dealer and philanthropist Dr Joseph Brown donated significant works to the permanent collection, including paintings by Howard Arkley and William Delafield Cook, and sculptures by Lenton Parr and William Ricketts. 

Pictured is Delafield Cook’s Peak. This synthetic polymer paint on canvas work is typical of the artist’s meticulous observation of form, light, and his photo-realist style.
