Geelong Contemporary soirée

Join Geelong Contemporary to support the acquisition of contemporary art for the Gallery. Purchasing a ticket enables you to play a vital role in assisting us to acquire a new addition for the collection by an Australian contemporary artist on the Gallery’s priority acquisitions list. Director and CEO Jason Smith, Senior Curator Lisa Sullivan, and Assistant Curator Katarina Paseta will present works by three key artists. You will then have your chance to cast your vote for the artist’s work that most captivates you on the night.

In previous years, the generosity of our donors has enabled us to acquire more than one artwork. Your contribution in 2024 will play a crucial role in expanding our collection with important contemporary works for the enjoyment of our community and broader audiences.
