To coincide with John Nixon—Four Decades, Five Hundred Prints teachers of all levels are invited to engage with John Nixon’s printmaking practice and actively design and make a series of prints using a range of accessible and often unconventional printmaking materials, techniques, processes, and technologies. This full day workshop is presented by artist and Deakin University Lecturer in Arts and Education, Dr Merinda Kelly.

Energised by John Nixon’s playful and experimental approach to printmaking―don’t miss an opportunity to connect with colleagues and develop practical ideas to enhance printmaking and learning in your classroom.

Curriculum alignment:

Manipulate materials, techniques, technologies and processes to develop and represent their own artistic intentions (ACAVAM126)

Develop planning skills for art-making by exploring techniques and processes used by different artists (ACAVAM120)
